Jenna and Lucas met me and my husband at The Frick Museum & Gardens. The sun was out and we had the park all to ourselves! It was my first time here, but they shared how they almost got married at this stunning garden! We decided to start inside the greenhouse, which was, of course, was warm but beautiful. Jenna brought along a couple pairs of baby socks to include in her portraits. Did I mention they're expecting twin boys?! Jenna was glowing and joyful and Lucas was all smiles. I love that she and Lucas love to laugh so much!
On our way out of the greenhouse, we stopped to let Jenna rest a bit. It was a great spot for more pictures, too. Jenna told me how she originally picked her dress for her sister's wedding, and since the boys are due the same time as the wedding, she was happy to be able to use the dress. The light green color and flowy skirt was perfect.
As we made our way to the cherry blossoms by the cafe, Phill cracked jokes and kept the beautiful couple laughing. We learned that Jenna and Lucas both teach music—Jenna teaches music to disabled children and Lucas teaches piano and plays the keyboard in a band. Funny enough, several of Lucas’ band members also have twins! And Lucas told us that on the way to their first ultrasound Jenna said, “Time to find out if there's one or two!” I love it!
We finished the session in front of the Art and Historical Center. The arches were beautiful, with the exception of a persistent pigeon that kept flying in and out--ha! Jenna and Lucas look so sweet holding the book "Guess How Much I Love You?"
Jenna and Lucas, I am so excited for you and your growing family! Your little boys are going to be so smart, talented, and LOVED! I know because they already are!!
