As a Cranberry Township newborn photographer, I truly cherish getting to know families beyond the camera, and my connection with Jessica began long before we ever met in person. We were initially introduced via email by a mutual friend. I immediately fell in love with her artwork and fun monthly updates about her family and business. Soon after connecting with her, she found out she was pregnant with her fourth baby and felt the need to slow her business to take care of herself and her family. Almost a year later, we reconnected and I was so honored to take her family portraits.
It was the first time we met in person! I brought my husband along because I love meeting other couples with my better half. We met at Soergel Orchards in Wexford. It was a very hot summer day, but everyone was such a good sport about the heat.
After the session, we all bought ice cream and watched the boys play in the mist spraying nearby the shop. Then we sat down to chat while her boys ran around a bit. Jessica and Joe were so fun and easy to talk to. And I couldn’t believe how sweet and easygoing their baby was.
Jessica and Joe have a small family business together where Jessica paints lovely cards, decor and apparel, and Joe creates beautiful woodwork. Check out their page on Etsy! They are incredibly talented, yet so humble and there's something so peaceful about their artwork. I feel so fortunate to have several of her greeting cards and the stationery. I love using them, especially to keep in touch with out-of-state friends and relatives! There is a gorgeous selection for various occasions.
It’s been a blessing getting to know this precious family and watching their shop grow. I hope that you’ll check it out and support them. You won’t be disappointed!!
